Steinway Grand Piano

Seascape SteinwaySeascape Villa is a true rarity among luxury villas in the Caribbean as it is home to a Steinway & Sons grand piano. The 6 foot piano was built in 1904, has been acclimatised to Caribbean weather and fully restored. It has a beautiful rich sound and mahogany casing, and the keyboard comes with a view of the sea.

Many of our guests are musical & choose Seascape specifically for the piano. Performing artists, music teachers, students, & musical families can go on vacation without leaving their music behind. The piano sits in the grand room with space for your audience, other instruments, backup singers, & dancing. 

Montserrat is a musical island, and has a tradition of both home-grown and imported musical talent. George Martin's Air Studios attracted many musicians to Montserrat, and as a result many high calibre musicians have graced this Steinway's keys. Sir George Martin has been involved in raising funds for a new cultural and community centre for Montserrat.

You might also be interested to know that "Arrow" is from Montserrat. The international soca-King wrote the famous song "Hot Hot Hot!" that took the Caribbean by storm.
